U-verse Hits Kalamazoo

I’ve been watching AT&T install VRAD and Lightspeed boxes around West Michigan for months, waiting for U-verse to go live near me. I checked online today and found out I’m finally eligible.

The value is hard to believe:

• ~400 channels
• 10 Mbps down / 1.5 Mbps up
• Wireless set-top boxes for up to 3 TVs
• DVR you can control over the internet
• ~40 HD channels
• On-demand content

All of this costs about the same as what I pay now for cable and DSL. In fact, it’s even cheaper than what my cable bill will be once my promo rate ends.

The future of TV has finally arrived in Kalamazoo.
